Firefighter | Paramedic

Manages and oversees the EMS program, which includes things like scheduling, training, employee and ambulance certifications and licensers and assisting in budget development for the EMS program.  She directly supervises the full-time medics, medic/firefighters and EMT’s.

Certifications

Education, Experience, and Associations

          • 18 years in EMS with services in Wayne and Roscommon Counties as an EMT, Specialist, and Paramedic. Completed EMS schooling at Schoolcraft Community College.
          • 15 years in the Fire service in both Wayne and Roscommon Counties.
          • As a Full-Time Paramedic in Wayne County served as the Field Training Officer and Supervisor.
          • 10 years with Gerrish Twp. Fire and EMS as a Paramedic/Firefighter.
          • Completed Fire Officer III certification and promoted to second Lieutenant for two years.
          • 2018 promoted to Assistant Chief EMS

Community

        • Gerrish Twp resident since 2006 with her husband and son.
        • Active with community events in and around Gerrish Township.

Hobbies and Interests

    • I enjoy spending quality time with my husband Kevin and son Brenden and our dog Molly.  We do a lot of camping and spending time at the beach.
